- Their obession ran their businesses to the brink of extinction

- The dot-com bubble and burst of the early 2000's took the focus and finance away from mechanical superiority

- From that point on 'improvements' were made in software not hardware

Arbitary and Destructive Government Intervention

- The Green-Grift has led to a technically inferior product

- Designed Obsolence has been allowed to run riot

- Rampant inflation and taxation has made the new product unaffordable
